Transfers between Cadmos users are free and instant. Purchases, conversions, deposits or withdrawals through external networks and local payment methods may include network or partner fees. The app shows the quote before confirmation when applicable.

Availability of the app and each product depends on the country and account. Regulated services provided by partners require identity verification and approval. The Cadmos wallet is self-custodial: you control the keys and authorize transactions.

It means that you are the only one who controls the keys to your digital money. This setup allows you full control over your funds and their security, meaning only you can access and transact with your assets. In contrast, if someone else holds your keys, like a bank or a crypto exchange, they control your money, and you have to rely on them to keep it safe and accessible. This introduces risks such as potential mismanagement, hacking, or even the third-party denying access to your funds. At Cadmos we do not have access to your keys and do not control your money, this means that your money is safely stored on the blockchain even if we disappear.

Your wallet keys are protected on your device. If you replace or lose your phone, use a recovery option that you configured earlier:

• Restore the wallet on the new device with your 12-word recovery phrase or encrypted recovery key.
• If you enabled an assisted recovery option, follow the flow and timing shown in the app. Support will never ask for your recovery phrase.

There is no password to remember in Cadmos Pay. With standard email sign-in, you first enter the code sent to your email, then verify a second code sent to your phone through WhatsApp or, where available, SMS. Google and Apple sign-in proceed to phone verification. To transact from the wallet, the device must also hold a copy of your digital-asset key.

You choose when to transfer assets from your wallet to an investment. Available options may include:

• Depositing it on decentralized lending markets or directly lending it to the U.S. government by purchasing treasury bills.
• Buying a variety of cryptos such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, UNI etc…
• Other assets and protocols shown in the app's investment section.

The wallet supports compatible digital assets, including USDC and USDT on the networks shown in the app. Eligible users may also request partner-issued virtual account details in USD, EUR, GBP, BRL, and MXN. Availability depends on country, verification, and partner terms.

Cadmos supports USDT and USDC, the two dominant stablecoins. They both are mainly backed by U.S. Treasury reserves maintained by their respective issuers.
